Los Angeles County: help paying for grab bars, ramps and home modifications
Help in L.A. County depends a lot on where exactly you live: the City of Los Angeles, Long Beach, another city, or an unincorporated area. Check the area served on each listing before you apply. Almost every program here has limited money and a wait list, so it is worth applying to more than one.

Who qualifies
Homeowners 62 or older and/or living with a permanent disability, with household income under the limit (for example, $93,300 for 1 person). The home must be a single-family house; most mobile homes qualify. Duplexes, townhouses and other multi-family homes do not.
